    I would say the CPU is causing more of a problem than lack of RAM. I don't know about VPC, but VMWare is pretty easy going on the old RAM sticks. Reckon you need a dual-core CPU cheek! Or try VMWare, it might run it all bit better.

    i have tried VMWare before, it was too complicated to setup :blink

    Well I've never used VPC but I'd be surprised if one was significantly more difficult to set up and use than the other. I've always found VMWare to be very intuitive and simple.
