I am doing an MOS online course that came with one free exam voucher for the Excel Specialist 2010 exam. I took the exam and passed, but now I want to take the Excel Expert exam. I asked the company which provided me my course if they would sell me an exam voucher for Excel Expert 2010 - they came back to me saying they only sell Microsoft Office Specialist exam vouchers, not Expert. I was under the impression that it didn't matter, that MOS exam vouchers can be applied to Expert exams as well?

What is the truth? I have had no real luck googling for a UK supplier of specifically MOS Expert exam vouchers.

To anyone who has taken MOS excel expert exam in the UK, could you please tell me how you obtained your exam voucher? Thanks.

I think Certiport allow you to book direct with the test centre, you should be able to phone them up and pay with a credit card.

You can also ask test centre if they accept MOS specialist vouchers for expert exams.

Gracetech sell vouchers, doubt you'll save more than £5 in the UK going the voucher route.

so exam vouchers aren't really required at all?

 

Never taken a MOS exam, but I have taken 10+ Microsoft exams and never bought a voucher.

 

MOS were good and insightful shame though they put the cost up 100%
