I've had one hell of a week this week, we had a primary disk go down on our main file server that I'm pleased to say we recovered from within a day but after rebuilding everyting one thing I have noticed is that after rebuilding our DFS files system there are some morphed directory names that have been created by the system. We have the DFS roots replicated between two servers and it is a domian DFS.

Lets say that one of the folders is called "C2G" DFS has replicated the folder and its content but has also created a folder called "C2G_NTFRS_03da762e". It seems to have done this for numerous other folders creating a morphed version of that folder all ending with _NTFRS_xxxxxxxx

Any info and advice on this would be great. thanks in advance.
