I'm in the market for Linux certification and after deciding that the RHCE is a little too expensive, I'm investigating the LPI route.

15 years in IT support and I'm a bit fed up with being at the bottom of the ladder.

Yeah, I've been researching now for a few months. I have a fair bit of enterprise Linux experience under my belt and have a solid understanding of most aspects but I haven't had the opportunity to really apply it 100% in the workplace.

From my understanding the Linux+ is a broad certification for newcomers to Linux whereas the LPI is for those who have experienced the love/hate relationship with Linux!

I'm still researching though
