    Curse themmmmmmmmm!!! (Kaaaaahhhhhhhhnnnnnnn!!!!!!)

I bought a thermos yesterday, for use in keeping my milk cold at work.

It arrived this morning, and had this on the instructions:

Dammit. I'm actually quite tempted to just ignore the warning and do it anyway. I suspect it might be ok for the work day.

Anyone else here used thermoses for this? (Its a stainless steel one). Of course, no replys might just mean they all carked it :biggrin.

My manager has been doing it for last three years, but recently he has moved onto a plastic sealable cup for bringing milk in. I am not sure why though.

I don't see anything wrong with keeping milk in a thermos. You might want to put the milk in the night before and then put the thermos in the fridge overnight.

I was planning on just putting it in in the morning before I go to work really. So yeah I think it would be fine.

When I take my Thermos, I have milky coffee in it. It hasn't killed me. Provided you wash it out every day/night then I don't see how you could have a problem.

Just make sure you clean out the thermos properly every night (without damaging the insides). They have to put warning like that for people who need warnings like:

No... I take my milk (actually, coffee creamer) out of the fridge at home, drive 40 minutes to work, and put it in the fridge at work.

Put your name on it. If they still steal it, devise a method of finding out who is taking it. Inflicting damage on the first individual generally stops the rest of the rabble from ever again leeching your dairy products. :dry

I was going to write on it that i'd added a liberal sprinkling of man-milk to the milk. see how quick they drink it then.
