I didn't even know that these versions of products existed.

 

Visual studio express editions are also free until november 2005, they are pretty cool for the budding programmer, be warned though even on broadband they can be quite a lengthy download!

 

Yeah, just a bit,

I downloaded VB studio express 05 using dial-up!
It took me five hours to download and install, along with
the .NET framework v2! I'm just happy it didn't cut off
halfway through.

Although i'm really annoyed, as I decided if i'm going to learn
any OOP, it ought to be C++ so I tried to un-install
VB and it wont let me! It actually brought on the blue
screen of death! Download at your own peril lol.
