Microsoft Announces Exam Retirements

    Microsoft has announced that the following exams will retire on October 31, 2010:

    70-089
    70-123
    74-131
    74-132
    74-133
    74-134
    74-135
    74-137
    74-138
    74-139
    70-262
    70-281
    70-285
    70-350

    What do you think about these retirements? Any surprises? It looks like the core MCSE 2003 exams will still be available for some time to come.

    That may very well be true... but Microsoft just announced it in their MCP Flash newsletter.

    I had 70-285 penciled in as my design choice for my MCSE as I thought it would be good to have some exchange in that mix.

    You've still got time. Just because an exam retires doesn't mean you can't use it to fulfill requirements - you absolutely can.
