Currently i have the 3rd edition of the book. Is it important for me to get the latest edition?. I also have Scott Muellers latest tome. Am i missing out on anything not having Meyers` latest?

I think that the books that you already have will cover the majority of the topics on the exam.

What you should do is go to the CompTIA website and get hold of a copy of the latest objective that the test covers, then use the web to help you find information on any area's that your books don't cover.
