    hi ladies and gents

i live in london and want to take the a+ exams. could anyone for the love of god tell me where i can take a test centre which accepts cash and/or debit card(maestro) and lets you book directly. every test centre i have called wants you to do the course first whereas i have used books and experience to gain the knowledge. i am not willing to pay for an expensive course that i don't need to take. basically i want to walk in there, book and pay for the exam and take it.

    yours rajneetc

    Hi Welcome

If you go on the pearson vue website or Thomson prometric website then you can book the exams on there, both sites will tell you your nearest centre.

Any you can pay by card, no test centres take cash.

    Hi there and welcome 8)

Don't listen to any test centre that insists you have to take a course first. That's a load of rubbish, they are not there just to provide training courses, they offer a facility so you can take exams no matter how or where you decided to study.
