how long do you think i will have to complete 2000 before the exams become withdrawn i was hoping for at least 12 months ?

MS usually announce the retirement of exams in June of each year. The date of retirement is normally 12 months after the announcement. SO.. if MS stick to this practise the earliest Win2K exams will be retired is June 30th 2005.
