Total gratz on the MCSA Reders - I'm really made up for you ! Well done :thumbleft

Hope you enjoy a few wet ones to celebrate, and don't worry, with your persistence, employment will come your way.

You may have noticed I dropped out of the MCSA "race", but I'm so glad to see you got it :clap

Excellent, Reders! First rate! Congratulations! Sorry about your being out of work but you've got your full "administrator" qualifications now. I hope you can spend more time around certforums. Haven't seen you post in quite awhile, but then I imagine you've been busy.

You should put all your "new found" knowledge to the test and try out my 70-294 AD infrastructure QOTDs in the MS forum. AJ also puts up QOTDs for the 70-215 Server exam. Bet you'll just blow them away. :D

Thanks for all the kind comments guys/girls.

Since money is a "bit" tight at the moment i think any more certs are unlikely at the moment. However i would like to have a go at upgrading to Server 2003. Would that be a good idea??

What does anybody think about finding any type of I.T. job without MCSE? (Including desktop support.) I get the feeling that i may be on a looser!!
Seems nobody is hiring unless you have one/two years experience.

    Any comments welcome.

it's possible, but it definatly doesn't have the best odds, if you are likely applying via an agency and hr department the chances are slim, hr like to throw in buzzwords like 'mcse' and 'microsoft certified' when an IT manager may look at your CV and say your the one
was talking to trip bout this just this morning

dont give up hope, keep a smile and be enthusiastic, you will land one, its just finding that lucky break :)
