I'm thinking to take MCITP exam, however, this would be the first time I'd come across Windows Server OS. I therefore wonder if the MCITP exams books (70-640, 70-642, 70-643, 70-646 & 70-647) would allow me to understand the core/foundation or should I be studying the old MCSE related books (70-290, 70-291, 70-293 & 70-294) first to strengthen my foundation to learn and understand Windows Server OS better.

If anyone's taken MCSE & MCITP around, whilst I realise I don't have to take MCSE exams first before doing MCITP but would they suggest I'd be OK with MCITP related books or should I be going through MCSE related books first?
