    A Silicon Valley company has hailed as a major landmark the production of their one billionth computer mouse.

    Logitech's description comes at a time when analysts claim the days of the mouse are numbered.

    I may be alone in thinking this but, was it not so many moons ago that Logitech product was looked upon as a bit 'trousers'?

    I recall a similar thing happening with video game darlings THQ. They were a laughing stock; for the first couple of years they were in business I don't think they released one single decent game.

    Pffft. Logitech's always been great, IMO.

    THQ's been around since 1989... so "the first couple of years" would be reeeeeally early compared to most game developers.
