Hi all, especially Ryan if you read this!!

I'm just getting more used to playing around with Mandrake, its quite good fun, albeit difficult at times when ive been brainwashed with windows!!!!Lol..
Ryan seems to rave about Knoppix and what it can do with windows probs. Ryan, is there any sites you know of that can help me or others use Knoppix, understand the basics etc..

www.linuxiso.org generally has some good mirrors

erm,theres nothing really special about knoppix over other distros, other than it boots from a CD and has many many tools on it that you can use to assist in the recovery of windows items

for instance you can mount NTFS disks, then start up the SAMBA server and copy the files over the network to somewhere safe


or recover local windows passwords
