Thanks guys for all your warmest wishes. After 3 days of being in hospital (Thursday night to yesterday night) and Joshie having light therapy and being force fed added to the multiple blood test he had to go thru (to ensure that he had enough platlets in his blood), I'm just glad he is safe and sound at home. Midwife just left after checking baby and mother over and both are doing fine (wife is tearful, but I'm told that's normal).

    Thanks again guys and gals.

How the little one? Is he in good health, and how are yourself and the missus coping?

Great name Ken. Forgive me but I do have a question. From a purely anglo saxon point of view, I understand "Joshua Stephen" but wonder how you settled upon "Kai" as a third name? Just curious, mate. No offense intended.

The explanation could be buried somewhere in that quote, or they may just like the sound of Kai, dunno. :)

Kai in Chinese mean victorious / triumphant. We decided to give Little Josh a Chinese 2nd middle name as he's a quarter chinese (3/4 european: 1/2 British, 1/4 German) :biggrin

    Don't think so:

    Chinese 1/4
    German: 1/4
    British: 1/2 or 2/4

Equals a whole (I class both German & British as European, we're in Europe after all)
