Congrats to you and the missus Ken. First sprog of a batch? well you've had your fun, now the pain and torture start! Hours of endless sleep, smelling of puke and K**p, Screaming whining and complaining without really understanding why, and thats just the wife!

To be a dad is one of the truley rewarding things in life. I have 2 kids 12 and 6 and no matter how much they drive me up the wall, don't listen to me, complain and mess around, I know they will always love me and i will always love them. And of course once they've grown up, got married and have kids i can get to say "REVENGE!!"

Congrats Ken and wife. Being a parent makes you realize the true meaning of life and makes you feel as though your life has NOW actually begun. There is nothing in this world like it. :D

Major congrats! There are few, if any, things in life that will give you the same satisfaction of being a dad. I will always remember the feeling I had when Hayden, my eldest, was born. :wub

despite the others saying otherwise - I'm kid-less and more than happy to stay that way - but I will raise my glass :alc to you sir and wish you and the missus (and little one) and wish you all the best.

I've just realised this emoticon - :berrr - looks like feeding a baby not drinking beer - definitely more suited to you now :D

Joshua Stephen. That's a strong name. I like it. :D

Congratulations. My youngest is 19 years old so I'm somewhat separated from the newborn experience (and I don't have grandkids yet) but I remember the toxic waste diaper changes, sleep deprivation, and the big, screaming, red alert that went off in my head anytime one of the kids started crying.

My wife always says she misses the times when the kids were infants. Me? I *really* started enjoying them once they could talk. :D

Congrats mate, I'm sure it is indeed a proud day for you, as long as you know you still have a lifetime of proud moments to witness now that you have some offspring, I'm sure he wont stop surprising you throughout the years
