Just tried to take my AWS CCP.....and I wasnt allowed as my name didnt match exactly.

I have been using PearsonVUE for 10 Years or so and every exam I have ever done has been through them.

My last two exams from home and been through Pearson and the "Overseer" never had an issue with my name.

Fo what its worth, Pearson name is Ron Jackson whilst Passport / Driving License reads as Ronald Jackson.

Raised a ticket with Pearson and hopefully be able to do a resit.

Just an FYI in case anyone is due to take an exam soon.

Dude, you might have just saved my ass. I'm sitting an exam tomorrow and I totally forgot to do this.

AWS came back to me today and confirmed the name change. Just waiting to hear back from Pearson about if its a refund or a resit Voucher.

Going to start Azure Fundamentals tonight and tomorrow so will have to revisit AWS CCP after that.

 

Quick Update:

With the name change:
Pearson came back to me within the day to advise that I needed to contact AWS.Contacted AWS and it was done within a few hours.
Contacted Pearson again about a Refund / New Voucher....Looking at 5 Business days for a response......

 

Refund in process How did you guys get on??

 

Thanks for the tip got an exam booked in September (although probably going to have to reschedule)
