Definition: Craigification - to be unerringly compelled into studying vast numbers of career-relevant certifications in a quite frankly scary and voracious manner.

Known to be a contagious phenomenon, more recent sufferers include JK2447.

Due to the completion of the first module of my OU degree in October, and the 4 month break I've afforded myself, I see a window to get infected and am considering..... ooh, lots of things. So much is going on at work I've got a lot of scope to work with.

Anyone else getting the itch (I've decided itching is a symptom)

Ha ha guilty as charged. I've been to my GP but there's no cure Arroyn. Get ready to have your social life destroyed

Ha ha oh I don't know Arroryn, I think I drink more to relax after working so hard Something like 20-30 hours study a week I've done all year. I think that definitely means I've got a problem!

Ha ha funny aren't we. I love to study, its part of my life now. Would you consider doing more teaching Ken?

 

I would,to be honest. However, I'm glad that I'm not doing it at the moment with the workload I have on. I'm still considering whether or not to do the PTTLLS which is the minimum teaching qualification needed now a days, in September.

The only thing is that this course is done in the evenings (2 a week) and that's the time I get to play with my son. Added with the other studies I'm doing, I may overload myself at this point in time... If I don't do the course this year, I'll do it next year

Good luck with it mate Over in our area, it's 2 evenings a week over 5 weeks (pro's & con's to both ways).

You get an MCP for getting any of those Certs (can't believe I need to tell you that and your MCITP and MCTS was one exam

Infect us more like ha ha 9 exams I've passed this year! I've sat 11!

 

I've been extremely fortunate with the amount of training courses I've been sent on this year and to be fair, the CPTS exam I sat was at the end of a weeks course, so not long to study for that, although it was intense.

The 2 MCTS exams I passed I got for free and crammed for 10 days so if you discount those 3 I've passed 6 that I've had to "break my back" over so to speak. My MCSA:Sec and Security+.

 

I believe we should be hearing around October time for the results, but don't hold your breath. As that's when they have that meeting for it.
