My A+ certificate arrived at work today and I am pleased. I got a little card with it too...I have asked work to see if I can put it up somewhere...altho I want to take it home hehe...but it would look a lot better at work...I will try and upload a pic very soon for all to see....so yep its official now

Not sure it's a great idea to publically post your CompTIA Career ID number... I tend to limit that information to people who have to know in order to verify my status, like to employers. Never know when your identity will be stolen. It's probably more of a problem for someone with a bunch of certifications, but still, you can't be too careful.

Also, laminate the card ASAP, they fall to pieces in minutes lol. Ive got tons of business size cards for the laminator if ya need any mate.

I know. It's kind of a thrill when the real piece of paper actually arrives. I have mine (all two of them...oh well...) stashed away in my closet so they don't fall apart or fade due to exposure to light. Congratulations.

All this talk of laminating cards harkens me back to something we did on a contract I worked a while back.

me and the other two guys were regularly treated like shite by the user community and the contract manager had the bright idea of giving us little name badges with our photos and names on them. Of course, we weren't particularly enamoured of this idea, but the contract manager gave us the task of designing the badges ourselves. She wasn't too impressed when i came up with this potential design...
