Aach, Bugs, Shmugs - they only get under your shell anyway

More to the point, we're drifting away from the interminably dull Local Weather Reports from around the globe.

Darvel was nice today - got 2 washings done - looking forward to the weekend when I might get some new plants put in the garde.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :sleeping

Oi where did that poll come from? This is pure brilliant nonsense. It's not raining today so far. I am not looking forward to tomorrow when this thread celebrates it's first weeks' birthday, as Robbie Williams is playing up the road so traffic will be pants. Hey Traffic, there another direction for this thread

I agree, if we can't just talk about the weather ,traffic and the price of a loaf of bread, what is the world comming to. :x :x

By the way the traffic around Northampton is pretty bad at the moment as one of the lanes on the duel carrageway is closed.

The weather is warm but overcast and paid 62p for a loaf of bread at Tescos today.

It's a rocking life being in the IT world, full of variety and lots to talk about.

Back to my pipe and slippers then.

My street was quite quiet for the most part of the day, although there were TWO delivery vans, and a Tesco home shopping van. Mind you, there may have been more, but I was out in my back garden, doing .............. :?: :?: :?:

    Friday Morning, YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Weather looks fair, a little overcast but nothing to worry about (hopefully).
Traffic was not too bad at the Tyne Tunnel for a change, only sat for about 10 mins to get through. 8)

Weather is glorious today in Darlington and traffic at a minimum due to it being sunday.

Sun is so hot and bright it gave me a headache and I had to come back inside, hence the post!

Glad to see most people don't want shot of this fan-dabby-dosey topic!!!

A Dandy Day in Darvel, also - just had dinner in the garden. Might go and tend my two new Clematis plants I bought yesterday.

For those of you interested (yeah, right :sleeping ), one is a Star of India, the other is Carnaby. If anyone has hay fever, let me know and I won't mention them again.

You see the weather has been that nice today, I thought to hell with the garden and the jobs indoors, the golf course is calling.

Sunshine all day, a lovely walk around a pretty course, good company and a couple of cold beers afterwards. The golf was crap though, but hey you can't have everything.

ps the trafic was heavy due to an accident on the Northampton ringroad.

Been a RED HOT day today. Been stocktaking Paperchase in Manchester and was soaking wet all day!!! It was soooooooooooooo hot!

Traffic to and from Manchester not bad except for on the way home they'd shut the turn off to the M1 North so sent us on a really pathetic diversion when all I wanted was to get home!!!

Never mind! Happy now yet still no suntan....

    Tuesday

Weather - overcast but very warm. Cut grass and weeded garden. Discovered a blocked drain and cleared. Did some study. Off to garden centre for some odds and ends and then out for a meal after a little more study.

Traffic - haven't been out yet will if anything to report will let you all know :!:
