been employed permanently with the company for almost a month now, and they are sending me to london for a three day ITIL course. not bad going really.

admittedly, they are pushing to get everyone in IS to have it, so im about the last. but still not bad.

The Council are looking into this ITIL stuff at the moment. All I hear these days is Change Management, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Move Management and Manage Management...BORING!!!

Seems like a big job creation scheme to me!

 

Ummm... i'd rather not say. i'll keep their name out of it entirely. means i can bitch and moan all i want later without issue. all i will say is that they are a global company with fingers in Oil & Gas, Industrial, Design & Management, etc

I did the ITIL foundation course as my place is making sure everyone has been on it.. The instructor (from Pink Roccade) was a bit of a hero having been/seen and done everything singled handedly...
