Is it still the case that you can only do ITIL exams at Prometric centres?

Hi there I did my ITIL foundation a couple of years ago and im half way though my ITIL red badge (passed service support and failed service delivery)

ITIL testing information can be found on the following site:
    http://www.bcs.org/server.php?show=nav.5677

I found these hard coming from a techie background seems the managers and people with no technical ability tend to max these, although im sure thats not ALWAYS true.

Let us know how you are getting on with the prep, if its foundation or green badge you are doing, the courses are usually fine in them selves. If you are doing the exam off self study this is going to be tough.

If you want any tips for ITIL whether you are doing green or red badge, give me a yell, drop me a note here or even a private message or MSN, either way, happy to help.

    JonnyMX,

According to the "Individual registration - EXIN Exams" webpage, it states "Individual candidates can register for public examination sessions for IT Service Management Foundation via any of the Testing Centers of Pearson VUE and Thomson Prometric, worldwide."

    I hope this helps.

I'm looking at setting up some sessions on ITIL for my guys at work. Do those of you who have done feel that you need the full 2 days training you get from folks like FGI or do you work from the books before going on the foundation exam?

From what i have heard from my fellow IT tech's at work who have taken the ITIL Foundation exam is that is a good idea to read up before attending the course. The course itself is very intensive so it as with all courses, wise to have background knowledge before hand.

    Hope this helps.
