I'm sorry, but here in the US you'd be accused of being a very strange sexual pervert if you told someone you'd been humping starter motors.

well not directly related to myself, but once had an incident
whilst building a new pc at home.

I was taking up the whole dining table ( as you do) and it was
annoying the wife loads ( as we do)

So while we couldn't sit there for sunday lunch, she went on
and on and on, moaning bout this and that.

After a while, dinner was reading, and the mouth was still going
and moaning away, which was really starting to get to me.

With the final moan I threw my old hard drive onto the table,
making a hell of a bang, this in turn, scared the crap out of my
neopolitan mastiff pup who is 12 stone in size, who was sleeping
under the table at the time.....

this in turn knocked the pc case of the table, onto the chair,
breaking the back of it, which in turn, smacked into my poor
wife in the stomach, who was holding two plates of
    sunday dinner at the time,
which in turn ended up on the floor, smashing and cutting into
    her feet.......

needless to say, i had to stem the laughter while cleaning up,
and stopping the bleeding as well as trying to keep the dog of
    the food and broken plates.

got to say though.... was bloody hilarious at he time lmao

(last time she ever moaned though ??? )

this is the little puppy, to give you an idea, my daughter is just
under 5 ft tall, he weighs in at 12 stone and is stupid!

he loves getting on your knee for a cuddle, or using your
pillow to drool on while your sleeping on it!

believe me trip, he walks himself!!!!

great when we go to shows and things, cos people just part
out of the way to let you through..... is brilliant. no queing up
at stalls or anything, he's a big soft wet pudding really, not a
bad bone in his body, when he wants something, he grabs my
daughters hand in his massive jaws and drags her to where ever
he wants to go. Like you'd argue really lol

The only real "IT" injury I had was one day when I was cutting out the pattern in the side panel of one of my cases for a window. The panel slid out of my hand and I went to catch it.

(note here.......when a piece of sheet metal is falling, LET IT FALL!!!!!!!!)

A trip to the emergency room and 12 stitches later I was home. And no, I still haven't finished cutting the hole yet, which was April of this year. :D

How's this for an instance (this happens, and happened again today - how do these people get management positions?):

Q:'Can you move that PC to over there?'

A: 'Yes, but you won't be able to power it, plug it into the network or do anything productive with it'

Q: 'Why not? Don't BT do some sort of adapter?'

    That's painful.
