Is my system vunerable?

    Take a look at this post made by omni. The signature at the bottom tells you your IP address, OS and browser and you are vunerable because it knows this info. :dry
    surely, just because it knows these details doesn't mean that your system is open to all and sundry :rolleyes:

    I had a similar enquirt about this recently, Boyce, but as far as I can see (and if you visit the site) it seems quite innocent. However, I'd like to hear others' opinions on this ?

    yeh, I would too Gav. Since the original I went back and it said I have a hacker in my system!

    Tomshawk runs a similar sort of software linked to his signature both here and at Tech-Unity. The message omni has about "spammers" is bogus and probably just a joke. Since I trust Tom, I don't believe the software in and of itself is harmful and I assume that omni is just running a variation on a theme.

    I think the site is danasoft.com - there, the author says it's pretty much just a simple plaything.
