    Greetings people

Just introducing myself in this section as it is, i guess most relevant...

I have just started studying toward taking the MCDST tests.. Im aiming to take them around mid April.. though havent finalized that descision yet...

I'm just wrapping up a BTEC ND course for IT Technicians but despite doing well in the course, I'm really left feeling that although I have learned a little about many aspects of IT, the course hasnt really pinpointed any one area enough for me to gain real expertese..

Anyway, I decided that the MCDST qualification is a SMART target for me.

I have a couple of books and some video cds and a trancender pack from ebay... I have been ploughing through the material and have achieved a measure of success.

I use Yahoo Answers quite a lot... ie. when I get to far ahead of myself or when I need something explained to me in plain english.. and hope to use this forum to my advantage!!!

You in the right section of the forum for advice and information on MCDST.

But, if you can't find what your looking for.?
Then I suggest using the search option at the top of this page and putting in a keyword. Alternatively you could just ask a question, the community here on CF is very friendly and always willing to help. :biggrin 8)

j, just be careful when purchasing material from untrusted sources like eBay, that you are not inadvertently buying braindumps. If you do not understand what i mean, just search this forum with the word *braindump* and enlighten yourself :)

Aah i had never heard of Brain Dumps before today. Thanks for the heads up, I presume were talking about copied questions from real exams.. perhaps without proper explainations?

Yep - and there are TONS of eBay sellers who sell CDs full of them. You might have accidentally bought one.

    Best of luck to you!
