Information rights management

    hiya,

    anyone set this up recently? just looking in to it now. not sure if the domain is 2k3 or 2k8, although according to the ms article, it requires the software on each client which requires to work with protected documents and holds the information within the file so i guess wouldn't make much difference.

    I have never set it up, however, you install Rights Management Services (RMS) on to server 2003 (2008 i believe is a little different and is refered to as Active Directory Rights Management Services - ADRMS) then you install the client on each machine if required ie XP. Windows 7, Vista and 2008 has the client built in as is integration in office 2003 and 2007.
