OK, don't know about the rest of the UK (and beyond), but in my part of the world, today was a scorcher for April.

Given that almost all of us will drop our studies/jobs,etc at the first blink of some good weather, do you think we're in for a fine summer ?

If its anything like last year, I will be extremely happy. Especially seeing as I will be having most of the summer hols at home No work for 5 wks

I rekon it will be a schorcher
fortunatly I will probably be in Idaho, where the temprature sores past the 100f mark, but AC is common place
thank god for Air Conditioning! (something that should be standard by now in the UK lol)

 

Fingers crossed we get more of the same sort of weather as I've got 4 weeks off when the school closes for the end of term.

Well talking for those of us that have to actually work in the summer

I hope its warm but not too hot, boy do i hate sweating at work!!

 

I think we are in for a good one although not in the same league as last year. Unfortunately I don't have time off but I do have A/C so my lab is one of the most popular visiting points in the company.

 

Yeah i've got A/C in the server room, but i work next door to it in a smaller office, so every hour or so i need to take a visit to "check" on something, just so i can cool down!!

 

4 weeks till I am off to some scorching (I hope) sun!!! Yippeee!!
