just a quick question any of you guys and gals working in aberdeen?


reason for question is that i am looking into doing some volantary work for a few hours a week to gain some hands on experiance

Im in Aberdeen. To be honest i suspect you'll have a bit of a hard time getting this. I tried a few places when i was starting out, trying to find somewhere i could just help out to get some experience (although i was mainly looking for work). None came my way. Apparently it had something to do with insurance and not being able to cover you because you were voluntary (at least, thats what they told me).

That said its worth a shot. Theres a good chance you could try C.A.B or some of the charities and offer to do some tech support for their (aging) machines. They would be more likely to take it for free.
