    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anybody has done any IBM or mySQL certs. I'm particularly looking at the DB2 admin stuff as I have some experience using SQL on AS400s, but I've also looked at the mySQL certs (thanks for the links to wagnerk). I guess the entry level certs are at a similar level but which are likely to give the better career prospects - how big are the job markets for these 2 technologies and are the skills easily transferable to other systems i.e. MSSQL and Oracle(where it costs far more to do the certs). Any advice/suggestions/experiences most welcome.

    Thanks guys.

    Big C

I've seen a couple of job ads recently where AS400 was mentuioned (ah takes me back to my short spell at Abbey Life - I remember DISOSS !).

These have been Ops jobs tho'

MS stuff is certainly frequently quoted in job ads/requirements
