Don't you think we need to wait for it to happen before we starting dumping on him? This is bordering on harassing him, with you guys throwing the first punch.

I don't know if it is or isn't, Mitzs, but I do know their posts smack of a jocular weariness that comes from having seen the same old routine so many times that it just wears you out to see it but all you can do is laugh about it.

I know that's how I feel when I see yet another thread from Kobem that experience tells me will go round in circles. I get so I just want to surf off somewhere else when I see one of his. I've read this one simply because it wasn't about networking, but it also wasn't much of a surprise to see that this "huge problem" is a rather minor issue for almost anyone who has worked with a computer very much at all. (:|

    Can anyone say, "drama queen"?

Yes, but freddy no one has to enter this thread that does not want to. Let alone reply if they do not like the person or think them not worthy of their time. There are those that are still willing to help and they should be allowed to with out others turning the thread away from it original reason no matter how anyone feels. They have a right to post here in peace like the rest of us till staff says otherwise.

I'm back I'm guessing snokered means drunk, well just a bit am more annoyed because my car is knackered and have been given a courtorcy car that takes three days to get to 60mph. It seems like it anyway.

And back to the origional topic Koebem Sparky is right it looks like your mic setting is set to mute, uncheck it and it will work.:knife

    Mitz,

You appear to jump to his defence whatever he does. I have tried to help him in the past and it just ends up with a head hitting a brick wall somewhere along the line. Sorry if you don't like my attitude towards him, but that's just tough.

When he learns to listen to those around him and not make everything such a huge problem then I'll be more than happy to help him.

This is my last comment in this thread. I have more pressing things to do with my time.

As Cheeks has already posted, it looks like the mic is muted in this screenshot, have you un-ticked the first option for mikrofon?

Weird, it is not greyed out so it looks like you can. What options do you get when you click the button below?

Ok, do you get any options when you click the box below? Also have you looked at the documentation for the mic?

Sure they do. Who's "yelling" at them, and telling them to stop trying?

The "peanut gallery" exists in every forum I have ever seen, and in meat life too. It owes its existence to the fact that human nature is what it is.

Kobem - look at the *last* picture. The Cmedia applet seems to show the microphone is muted. Try clicking there!

Quite often these applets will override the Windows mixer.

This is all getting very tiresome guys.

I have said this elsewhere but will again here to re-enforce the point. Some of you have voiced your opinions that Kobem is not willing listening to your advice and until he does, you are unwilling to help him. Yet when he posts a problem/question, some of you straight away start to turn the thread into some sort of joke, this thread is a classic example.

I shall state this once. Reply to Kobems posts or not. If you have nothing constructive to offer in respect of helping him then please do not reply. Any post that is identified as a personal attack will be removed.

We are not thought police, but the constant harassing of members will not be tolerated. This is a friendly forum and it pains me to have to make a post such as this.

SimonV has also stated the following on another thread but I shall quote it here from the rules and guidelines of which you all have agreed to.

This is the first item in the rules and guidelines.

I agree with AJ. Let's stick to solving the problem and leave personalities out of it.

As the others have said, in the second to the last picture, try clicking the button under the checkbox and see if that has any options to untick the box.

In the last picture, someone mentioned that it looked like the mic could be muted there as well. Please check this out.

Others have suggested checking the mic and headset connections. As was mentioned, the mic ahd headset may have separate connectors and its easy to plug a connector into the wrong socket.

Put the popcorn away, folks. It's a legit question. If you don't have a legit answer, don't respond at all. Thanks.
