Thought I would treat myself to a new phone.

Just ordered a HTC Desire from T-Mobile, shame it's going to arrive on Saturday and I'm in Wales doing a Cisco Migration

I have the HTC Hero and love the phone! The Desire should be awesome!

 

I was the mug who had to trial phones for some of our field sales guys (it was kinda cool, got to play around with Iphones, Palm Pres, lots of HTCs).

They settled on HTC Touch Pros.

Configuring them was fun I really hate Windows Mobile though.

I've had HTC's for the past 4 years, nothing wrong with windows mobile imo.. infact it's highly useful being on a windows OS
Currently got a HD2 which is killer, I'm sure there'll be an android port on it soon too(if there isn't already) like there was with the diamond. Dualbooting Android/Windows for the win.

Actually, pre iPhone i was a HTC nut, I was pretty unamused that the HD didn't make it over to the US
I think HTC will do lots of cool exciting things around the Windows 7 series phone platform, HD3? :P

 

While true your graphic is out of date - it now does voice recording and MMS.

I see these specs hammered alot, it doesnt have a removeable battery it doesnt do this or that. All I think of is, well when do I use video calling, it want to swap memory cards, I only send MMS once in a blue moon so I ask are those things important to you?

Have to say the iPhone was ground breaking when it was released.

We probably wouldn't have touch screen phones if it wasn't for Apple.

There were touch screen phones around but none that did capactive touch screens anywhere near as well, and it was so iconic that many companies have followed suit. And while I believe there are better phones out there, none have a better interface.

 

Hey Craigie, how are you getting on with the new HTC mate? Thinking about getting one myself at the moment.
