    hi all ,

just floating a message in here to see if anyone has had the same issue.

removing HP Protecttools from a HP 6730b with Windows Vista Ultimate x86 - removed the application ok, but it has still locked the bios.

I managed to get a hold of the former user thinking i could bypass it by using HP spare key, but the information he gave me was wrong so cant even do that.

is there any way of removing this?

any light to shine my way would be greatly appreciated :D

Not sure if there is. Id suggest calling HP.
Can you let us know what they say if you do?
