    34 with almost 10 years in the IT field and finally pursuing my goal of CCIE.. Hoping to get my CCNA here in a few months.

    Came across this site looking for a good place for some good discussion as I go through the process.

    I lived in Gaylord for about 2 and a half years while we built out a wireless ISP. Detroit was a neat city from the few times I was down there.

    Gaylord, and that whole area of Northern Michigan is awesome. I live in one of the suburbs south of Detroit. There are some areas of Detroit that you can find something to do, but outside of those areas, the city doesn't have a whole lot to offer. My wife and I took the kids on a road trip through Pennsylvania last year. It was during the Stanley Cup playoffs between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. What an awesome time to be out that way.

    I'm a PA native but I have to say. Not much is as beautiful as northern Michigan in fall. It was crazy here too when the eagles and the steelers played.
