How To Get My Netgear Router to Work with My MacBook

    Hi,
    I have a WGT624 NetGear Wireless Router and i have connected it to my computer but now i want to connect it to my macbook. I am Virgin Broadband. Can any1 help:D

    yup what Harry said, it should just plug in and work.

    I have found that MAC's do not like domains with .local and you have to bugger about with their hosts file. Also setting up proxy servers can be a pain.

    As Harry said what id the exact probelm that you are having?

    So long as your airport is turned on it should be able to see the network, and from there it is just a case of connecting to it.

    what message do you get from your macbook when you try to connect?
