In my infrastruture I have two servers running win server 2003. AD replicates well as well as DFS. Now I want to set MY documents to sycronize to both servers where I have created map drives so that should server 1 goes down users are still able to access shared folders or their my documents.

DFS is the way to go if you want to set something up that is robust and scalable.

If you just want to set something up quick and dirty, however, you might look into Robocopy, found in the XP/2K3 resource kit. Details on how to use it can be found here
