I think IT Support is a people oriented job in comparison to other areas of IT such as programming and development.

As a university graduate, I wasn't actually aware of this type of role for a long time and as with many of my classmates we didn't want to be stuck in a room all day bashing away at the keyboard.

Do you think IT is seen this way as a whole by other industries?
