Compared to CCNA? I found CCNA to be a breeze, scored 100% :) but in the future after finishing my ccnp courses and getting experience at work I plan to take the CCNP exams. What are they like compared to the CCNA? If they are multiple choice I cant imagine that it could be that hard, unless the virtual labs in it are killer. Having them split up into 4 differnt exams should make them easier to study for too. How much more did you have to study for the CCNP exams compared to the CCNA?

Wow, I haven't met anyone who scored 100% who didn't use braindumps. Not saying you used them... just saying that I've not seen anyone get a perfect score without using them. What did you use to study?

I found the CCNP exams to be easier than the CCNA exam. That said, I took them loooong ago - I haven't taken the new CCNP exams yet.

I have to agree with BosonMichael - i left work and studied solid for 6 months (6-8 hours eveyday) and i found the ccna difficult. I thought that i'd be ready to do a CCNP as well, but my brain needs a rest!!! I think that the CCNP would take about the same amount of time for each of the 3 or 4 exams - so about 18 months to study for, but they are more specialised.

I agree that the CCNP exams were easier than the CCNA. Like Michael, it's been a while since I took the exams, so I haven't the new revision yet.

    Hi,

I can only comment on the BCMSN course as I am currently studying that one first - so far I have found it fairly straight forward - nothing too complex to be honest as the foundation work (CCNA) was already put in. You're simply building upon what you already know (plus some new topics like Wireless & private VLANs).

I imagine that the amount of work you put in for your CCNA is probably going to represent the same amount of work you will need to put in again per exam. All depends upon your natural aptitude to learning combined with on the job reinforcement (if you're lucky in your job that is)

Non the less - excellent score on your CCNA :biggrin

    Good luck with your studies.

    Liq.
