Nope this is his 10th, that premise went out of the window when the master got his 14th regeneration when he briefly invaded the 8th doctor's body in the TV Movie, sad I know

The regeneration actually took place in the movie, Sylvester McCoy was shot as he stepped out of the tardis, rushed into hospital, he dies, but because his body was cooled in a morgue the re-generation was delayed by several hours.

I must admit I have not seen the film. I saw clips of it on Sky when they did that special Dr Who weekend.
I thought the trailer looked knaff and not worth watching!

Now that Mickey has gone I wonder who will be Dr who's next plucky side Kick?

Is a shame they didn't do an episode on the great Time War?
