I have some knowledge on Computers as I have used computers (as an end user for many years). I have built and repaired my own computers in the past. I wont say i am highly technical but i do know the basics.

My question is how long would it take to pass the A+? I am willing to study 3-4 hours a day, 5 times a week.

I really want to pass it ASAP. and then i will be studying for the N+. I tried doing the micrsoft cert 70-680. However I think atm it's out of my depth.

Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

No one can possibly answer that question. It really depends on how much you know already and how quickly you pick things up.
If you can study 20 hours a week I'd estimate somewhere around 2-3 months.
