Since the beginning of Certforums?

The only thread I can find that gives us some idea When CF was started is here:-

My join date is 29-Jun-2003 and I joined about a week after the forum was created. I went into the admin control panel thinking there'd be something in there that would say when the forum first went online, but I couldn't find it.

SimonV is the creator and site owner. Most (but not all) of the original "gang" have since moved on, but a few of us have lingered. Si and Gav have more of the history than I have. One of these days, they'll be along to fill in the gaps.

EDIT: I did find thread #4, which is the oldest one I could locate:

BTW, since Si's join date is June 23rd and since he created the place, I suspect that June 23, 2003 is when CF came to life.

I was a regular at another certification forum (which I no longer visit) and one of the members had just joined this one. He suggested I hop over here for a look and I was hooked. He's since gone the way of the dodo bird, but I managed to hang around. You haven't lived until you've experienced Rosy's whip in the chat room. LOL

 

What with whips and duck tape IT seems to be a dangerous job!

Someone said that the forum was setup by students of NITLC in the hope of pointing people (in a similiar postion) through the mindfield of Certs??

Is that true, were the creators student of NITLC

 

I think that's how it started out, but almost immediately grew beyond the original mandate.

As far as Rosy and Mitzs are concerned, I don't know that they ever "met" (online) but I'm sure they'd have gotten along famously.
