Quick question, after passing a MCP how long roughly does it take to arrive in the post?

Might need to show the certs I have (not many) to a new client and I would prefer to show the actual cert and not the print out you get. Do think I could get away with writing MCSE on the cert with a black pen? :biggrin

I can't remember exactly, but I think mine came after a couple of weeks.

You realise that you have to access your profile on the MCP site and request a welcome pack?

MS say they take about 6 weeks, but I've heard peoples have taken longer.

Can you not go to the MCP secire site and simply print out your MS Transcript? This will show the exams that you have passed and not just say MCP.

The print out has the name of the cert but I was just wanting the proper MCP cert so there are no problems. :blink

Does it really have to take 6 weeks to get cert delivered ?

Btw I just passed an exam with prometric 2 days ago, the status of my exam is 'pending', is it all right ?

you must make sure that your exam result is forwarded to the certification body i.e. comptia, microsoft or cisco... sometimes prometric & vue *forget* and your result never reaches them!:(

I've not had a problem with the 4 CompTIA exams I've taken so far. And the certs tended to arrive after about 4 weeks.

i've done three exams so far. no letters, emails with login codes, nothing.. all i have is the print outs they give you after the exam.

have a feeling it's because my account manager set up my thompson account.

do i need to contact thompson prometric to sort this out?
