How do you rate rediness review exams?

I just did the rediness review for the 70-270 in study mode. I set myself 70 questions and I only scored 61% do you think this is a good indication of how my study is going?

I find it to be harder than the exam so if you do well on it, you'll probably do well on the exam.

 

hopefully they are harder then I know I am doing ok. I wonder if there is a difference in difficulty between objectives mode where you can get 300 questions and practice test where you can get 145 questions

 

I just do custom test with 45 questions... I usually do 10-15% better on the real exam... maybe it's because I take it more seriously with less distractions, but the readiness review exam does feel a lot hard and I think it's mostly do to the way the questions are worded.

 

Some of the questions do seem a bit drawn out and long winded. There was one question I got and I had to break it down intio 4 parts just to take in all the information but then again I have been up since 3 am (currently 9:15pm) so I am a bit tired.

 

yeah I find that on the real exam, the questions aren't as long... you might have one or two questions with 2-3 paragraphs but that's about it. If I remember correctly, 270 has the permissions questions which tend to be a bit long even on the exam, but other than that, it's a lot more simple than the practice tests.

 

Good I think I have the permission thing down I need to brush up on my ICS and stuff like that.

 

Cool. I remember I had to review the permissions stuff as well... It was good though because the 290 also tests permissions so once you get that down, you don't have to worry about the 290 when it comes to permissions.

 

I used to get mixed up wether the NTFS permission came first or the local one did.

 

yeah you have really understand how it works, then you see how simple it is.

 

I find them harder then the real thing and I also find the question more long winded which makes me tend to rush them as I know it is onyl a practise exam but in the real one I would take more time over each question.

How is this exam configured to score you?

I set it at custom mode to give me 40 questions and the pass mark was 80% I then did it with 61 questions and the pass mark was 85 percent I then left it at its standard 45 questions and the pass mark was 87% wtf
