Not usually a massive fan of introductions but seeing as though i'm new to MS Certs and stuff I figure i'd give it a shot here.

My name is Rik (most people call me smurf on account of my hyperactive nature and love for blue cheese).

I have been involved in IT since my first full time job out of University where i actually studied Music theory and Music tech. I worked for a UK based ISP fo r2 years then ended up at Pearson VUE.

I'm the sole tech dealing with internal IT Queries regardless of teir.

It's about time i got some quals to back up my skills and fill in the gaps.

I might ask stupid questions but hey, there are no stupid questions, right?

I play Bass in a band that are as yet unnamed after countless failed projects. We have a working title of DOT Execute but not sure if it'll stick. (we're all IT profs and major nerds).
I have a 3 year old Daughter who has just experienced her first interest in computers, that made me smile. she's 1337 already!
