Feeling a bit down at the mo.

I think i've done everything I can do to get the ball rolling on the job side of things - a couple of different CVs posted on a fair few major jobsites, and applied loads jobs, with positive feedback and agencies forwarding my CV for a lot of em, but I am a bit of a control freak and need to know I will either keep a similar role in current company, or get a decent job somewhere else...and I need to know now...but that ain't gonna happen!

As I mentioned in my "Job Hunt" thread, after being unemployed a month, I finally get a call from a recruiter who wants me to do a three-hour contract job installing three PCs for a plumbing shop. Not exactly in the "Technical Writer" line, but it's gas money for the next week.

 

Wise words and very true.

 

You have to chill girlfriend. You have to show that you can handle pressure and not break under stressfull times. What happens if the whole network goes down and the president of the company is in the middle of a steamy chat with his mistress? What happens if turkey hackers decide to dos attack it? These are things you can not control, but have to deal with. Just like now. Now put those shoulders back and hold it togather woman! Show them that your made of steel dam it! Don't make me come back in here!
