Hi Pete thanks for the welcome.

Im a neebee yes i have about 1 years experience in running small websites and design etc, im currently a music producer but the industy isnt exactly 'thriving' at the moment, i have a passion for computers and IT and i want take my current knowledge way futher as i love learning, i hope to get some cert's but at the moment im having troubles actually finding my path of where i belong with this field, ive just spent the last hour reading posts on this forum trying to get a better idea of what might suit me best.

i will be sticking around as to be honest there is nowhere i can really go to find out independant advise (jobcenter just isnt gonna help lol) i do hope i will find what cert / certs are for me soon, as im a talented individual that just needs the right road to go down.

My heart on my sleeve, in a thread lol :biggrin

BTW I forgot to mention in my 1st post im 27 from Croydon in Surrey UK ;)

    Cheers

Ha Sunny Croydon, it doesn't get any better than that IMHO 8)

I was born in Oakfield Rd East Croydon and lived in or around there until I was 45. Now I am the other side of the planet :biggrin

I think you should consider an entry level cert like the A+, that would give you a great foundation to build upon, regardless of what specialist path you might take later. In retrospect, I wish I had done that and then the N+ but I skipped those because a salesman thought my experience, which was 7 years as a Netware admin would be enough. I jumped straight into MCSE and it was truly tough tough tough

    Hi Tony,

Welcome to the best Cert forum. :)

With the experience you have you should find the A+ straight forward. This is a great foundation for whatever road you want to go down afterwards.

Best of luck, hope you are a regular! :)
