Just a quick intro.............
I am 26 years old have no working experience in IT, have passed the A+ core and hoping to take (and pass!) the OS part soon. I am using Mike Myers and Exam cram to hopefully take me all the way to getting A+ certified.
It seems that changing career is a hard thing to do and I.T is no different. Any tips and hints along the way would be appreciated!

Oh..... and am I glad I found this forum it is great!

We could be all day trying to answer that question in a nutshell for you (sure we'll try anyway). Better, have a look at both the Training & Development and the Empoyment & Jobs Forums - there's loads of sound advice in there from Members past and present who were/are in the same position.

And my (unbiased) advice is stick around - the Guys here will attempt to help with pretty much any question you care to pitch our way.
