    Hi there,

Just a brief hello as I have just joined the Forum.

I have been studying for the A+ Exams on and off for well nigh on 10 months and hope to complete the syllabus by the end of the year.

If there any experienced or not so experienced techs out there, I would be interested to know what in your experience are the top five bread and butter jobs that a tech will be called upon to do in a home computer environment? For example, would it be home networking, installing hard drives or perhaps, replacing motherboards?

On another note, can anyone suggest an insurance company in the UK, which specialises in insuring self-employed computer techs. And what sort of annual cost should I budget for?

    Your suggestions will be appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Welcome :D

I am self studying for the A+

Not sure about insurance companies have you tried googling self employment insurance on google and see what you get but you would have to go on instinct as I said I could reccommend any.

With the A+ your job could be telephone support upto fault fixing just depends how lucky you are.
