    Interesting thread, I don't think that Somerset job is anything to do with this guy though.

    As someone who lives in Exeter, and whilst I have a good IT job at the moment, I'm trawling the job sites every day to see what's out there as I will need to move on soon.

    The only 'network engineer' job I remember seeing in the last month or so based in Exeter was a cabling job, vaguely remember the salary of that to be in the mid 20s, but it certainly wasn't a skilled network position more of a labourer type thing.

    And believe me I'm spending an unhealthy amount of time each day on the job sites so know pretty much everything that's come up recently lol. And apart from developer roles it's slim pickings.
