    Hi,

    I have just joined this forum and wanted to quickly introduce myself before I start digging out information from previous threads and may be asking you for some advice.

    I am new to IT and thinking to take up the CompTIA A+ as my first step into this new world.

    As I work full-time and have a baby to look after, needless to say I am tight with time and need some type of study that is flexible, so, from the onset self-study would seem the right option for me. The downside being I do not have any hands-on experience and fear I might feel lost and demotivated sometime down the line.

    Anyway, just wanted to say how glad I am to have come accross this fabulous forum. :D

    If I were you, I would grab yourself a good A+ book and test your interest/availibilty.
