    Im 34 and just made my mind up on a career change due to relocation & family commitments. Id like to express my sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has posted about TPs and advise on the right path to follow coming to IT industry. So I gave up my first thought which was enrolling on a TP long course (MCSE or MCTIP) and now Im just seeking a entry level job and started my self-study walk towards CompTIA A+ and after that I will decide on a job experience base (Hope to get a job soon).

    LOL, sorry to wake you!

    The IT situation does seem a bit better in the UK though. Here in the USA we're investing in the jobs of the future, housing and coal, but not a dime for technology. So if you're interested in swinging a hammer or shovel, come on over!

    LOL, well I do have the hammer+ and hope to add shovel+ this week, all without a training provider, so I might have to venture over to the States to try out my new skills. :biggrin

    Seriously though, if IT pi55es you off so much then you might as well change career.
